The US Job data went beyond the expectations in October with 3.7% hike in unemployment rate

As reported by the Labor Department today, the Nonfarm Payrolls added 261,000 in October, while September’s data has been reviewed to put on 315,000 jobs instead of the 263,000 that were added earlier.

Analysts predicted 200,000 jobs with expectations scaled from 120,000 to 300,000 on a poll conducted by Reuters.

- Unemployment rate rose to 3.7%, adding 0.2% compared to September.

- Average hourly earnings advanced to 0.4%, adding 0.1% considering the earlier month.

- Wages added 4.7% YOY .

Although the domestic demand has declined but the job growth on the contrary stood firm among the soaring borrowing costs due to the replacements that the companies have done to cover the workers who would leave. But this could stop shortly with the high risks of recession.

The results of a survey conducted earlier by the Institute for Supply Management, revealed that several industrial companies are halting the hiring process to cover the open vacancies due to the uncertainty of the current economic circumstances.
