The CPI in Russia showed uplift in today's figures
According to the released data on Wednesday, Russian CPI climbed a bit for the 8th week in a row triggered by some goods and domestic aviation.
Based on the Rosstat federal statistics service, the Consumer Price Index’s uptick was 0.06%.
That is considered to be 0.01% higher than last week’s prices, which could be challenging for the Russian Central bank.
The inflation rate that the central bank is pursuing to accomplish by 2024 is 4%. Which is expected to drop to 5%-7% by the following year.
According to Rosstat announcements, prices climbed by 10.74% since the beginning of the year. Where inflation was 7.51% during the past year.
Prices have shown specifically a raise in food commodities like eggs, tea, vegetables, some meat and fish. Regarding, the domestic aviation it surged by 3.2% considering the past week.
