November's Eurozone inflation sagged to 10.0% lower than forecasts
A slip to 10.0% in the Eurozone inflation for November beyond forecasts based on preliminary figures released by the European Commission's statistics arm Eurostat on Wednesday.
The released data came lower than the amended figures of 10.6% YOY in October and fell below the expectations of 10.4%.
The dip as well hit 12 months of advanced records for the CPI on monthly basis. Yet the figure is still edged up considering the other currency areas and surpass the ECB’s 2% target by 5 times.
A raise of 200 basis points to 1.5% on bank deposits has been added by ECB during the earlier three months aiming to ease the demand.
ECB president Christine Lagarde has implied earlier during this week that the hikes of the prices still did not reach its highest and could go way beyond expectations.
