A decline in the German industrial production beyond predictions in October
A slump beyond forecasts in October for the German industrial production according to the official figures released on Wednesday, the data was partially triggered by a decline in the production of some industrial fields that relies massively on the energy.
The industrial production figures manifest that the step-by-step crawl towards recession is continuous.
Based on the announcement of the Federal Statistical Office, the industrial output saw a slip of 0.1% comparted to the earlier month.
Reuters has conducted earlier a poll, where analysts forecasted a dip by 0.6%.
The office has revised the numbers for September from earlier reported 0.6% to 1.1%.
In contrary of the industry as a whole, a dip in the production of the industrial branches that are dependent on the energy on the month in October by 3.6%.
